At least the birth mark on his head wasn’t 13. That would have been unlucky.
Having the number 12 imprinted on his forehead is still a bit strange though and doctors are confused as to how the number formed perfectly.

Hanru van Niekerk was born on 11 November so it doesn’t signify the day of his birth, and his family from Johannesburg, South Africa, haven’t revealed whether it relates to another aspect of his life.
‘My youngest daughter was the first one to see it and she said there is a 1 and a 2 on his forehead,’ his great-grandmother Catherine Jooste told Northcliff Melville Times.
The 70-year-old added: ‘We did not worry about it, his doctor said it will fade.’
Maybe the one and two is football related and refers to a ‘one, two pass’.
Whatever the reason at least young Hanru will have an easy conversation starter when he’s older.
