Apparently the model-turned-actress secretly ended her relationship with the musician during her promotional tour for her Suicide Squadmovie after a year-and-a-half of dating.

A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "Cara and Annie still care about each other, but pressures of the long-distance romance just became too much. "The cracks were beginning to show on Cara's birthday in August when Annie wasn't there for her party. "They decided to call it a day but remain pals and are hoping they can work things out as it's no doubt they really love each other." The report comes shortly after Cara revealed how "in love" she was with the 33-year-old musician. She previously said: "I'm completely in love. Before, I didn't know what love was - real love. I didn't understand the depth of it. I always used to think it was you against the world. "Now I know the meaning of life is love. Whether that's for yourself or for the world or your partner." The 24-year-old actress, who has previously dated Hollywood star Michelle Rodriguez, also opened up about her sexuality. She explained: "As a child I used gay as a bad word, as in, 'That's so gay.' All my friends did. "[My parents] have been so, so supportive. I'm obviously in love, so if people want to say I'm gay, that's great. But we're all liquid - we change, we grow."

Cara Delevingne is "completely in love" with her girlfriend, singer St Vincent, who she has been dating since early 2015.

She refuses to be labelled by traditional sexuality categories, saying: "we're all liquid".

"Loyalty is one of the most important things to me in the world. Once I care about someone, I'll jump in front of a car for them. I'm a real 'ride or die' kind of gal. It's all about trust and loyalty."

The model also talked about how, with her, she needs to date someone completely different. "I can't date someone who's like me,' she explained. 'Because we'd probably end up killing each other. I need someone who can plan things."

Despite her chaotic life, Cara says she does go the extra mile for the people she really cares about. "I've serenaded a couple of people before, which is really embarrassing," she said. "I used to write love letters a lot, and I have travelled very far for a day to see someone."

Cara has had a string of high profile relationships recently, including Harry Styles and Michelle Rodriguez but she's been with the singer St Vincent (real name Annie Clark) since December 2014.
