Who Is Teddi Jo Mellencamp? The 'Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills' Newcomer Has Musical Roots

Guess what, everyone? The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are back for another season and, naturally, there is another 'Wife joining the crew to shake things up. You might have even heard of her before. At the very least, you've definitely heard of her dad, who is responsible for every time you've loudly sung "LITTLE DIDDY! 'BOUT JACK AND DIAAAAANE" at your cousin Stacy's wedding. So who is Teddi Jo Mellencamp on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? Yes, she's Johnny Cougar Mellencamp's daughter, but that is hardly her only claim to fame. This Beverly Hills lady is an equestrian, a business woman, and hopefully a pot-stirrer because I could use some good drama.
Teddi Jo's bio on the Bravo website honestly reads more like a professional cover letter than a biography for a reality television star, outlining all of her professional accomplishments and only briefly mentioning her children and husband. The bio also mentions nothing about her propensity for tea-spilling or bone-collecting so there's really no telling how her tenure on the show will go. Will she team up with my personal hero Erika Jayne Girardi? Will she find Dorit's accent endearing? Will she also offer an unsolicited opinion on Kim Richards' addiction and recovery? Since we get so little information from this outlet, I had to do a little research on my own. Here is what I have found.

She (Really) Likes Horses

Like most people (I imagine), I can count the number of times I've ridden a horse on one hand, these instances generally being girl scout trips or summer camp. Miss Teddi, on the other hand, started riding when she was four years old, and went on to become a competitive equestrian, winning competitions until she was 17 years old. These days, she just rides for fun, but she still wears the fly-as-heck outfit.

She's Really Into Fitness

Teddi is a fitness junkie. But literally. She has a business called LA Workout Junkie, in which she is an "accountability coach." She's not a certified personal trainer or a nutritionist, instead serving more like a good friend whose job it is to make sure you're sticking to your goals and giving you encouragement when needed. From the sounds of it, I feel like we could all really use an accountability coach. I mean, if I had someone texting me in the morning to make sure I actually got my butt to the gym, I would probably be a lot more likely to actually go.

She's An Early Riser

Teddi often posts selfies time-stamped at 5 a.m., an hour I cannot be 100 percent sure actually exists because I have never been awake for it. Seriously, I have nothing but respect for this. And a little bit of awe.
